Each Happy Pig Tea Pet is made of Dehua White Porcelain, also known as Blanc de Chine. The figurine is hollow, and can be illuminated with a light to glow if desired.

This piece was designed by Chen Feng-Ji, a young porcelain artist who has already won a number of awards for his work. The artist has a studio in Dehua China.

That'll do pig, that'll do

This porcelain pig is one of my favorite tea pets! The quality and craftmanship are amazing. I've searched for pig tea pets for a while, and this is by far the best out there. The detail is superb, and the depiction is not overly cartoonish as most other pig tea pets out there. Alongside the porcelain polar bear and cat tea pet also sold my Mud&Leaves, this is a winner and best in show!
