Each Lazy Polar Bear is made of Dehua white porcelain, also known as Blanc de Chine. The figurine is hollow, and can be illuminated with a light to glow if desired.
This piece was designed by Chen Feng-Ji, a young porcelain artist who has already won a number of awards for his work. The artist has a studio in Dehua China.
