Gaiwan does not come with a saucer.
This gaiwan was made following the old techniques and recipes for the porcelain body and glaze. This kind of porcelain is known as "fanggu" porcelain because it aims to revive and reproduce an ancient style of porcelain. Fanggu technique is more costly and difficult to execute properly than modern styles of porcelain.
