Tianbai 甜白 translated as Sweet White, is a rich white porcelain glaze created during the Ming Dynasty YongLe Period (AD1403 – 1424).
This gaiwan is handmade of fine white porcelain with tianbai glaze by our studio partner in Jingdezhen China. This model also features a subtle brown rim at the top of the bowl. The porcelain is fine with good translucence and the jade-like quality that is typical of Tianbai Jingdezhen Porcelain.
