These cups are identical to our other 48ml Horseshoe Shape Cups, except they do not have a brown rim at the top.

Tianbai 甜白 translated as Sweet White, is a rich white porcelain glaze created during the Ming Dynasty YongLe Period (AD1403 – 1424).

This cup is handmade of fine white porcelain with tianbai glaze by our studio partner QingKe Xuan 清可轩 in Jingdezhen China. The porcelain is fine with good translucence and the jade-like quality that is typical of Tianbai Jingdezhen Porcelain.

Superbly crafted.

Delicate and beautiful. Superbly crafted. These go especially well with the small horseshoe tianbai gaiwan.

Great shape and feel in the hand.

Great shape and feel in the hand. The base of the cup is just the right thickness for keeping the liquid mostly hot. That being said, The top of the cup is perfect for letting out steam. The combo of the two and the 48ml factor into making this a great solo or do gongfu session with most teas. 10/10 as far as rating. Buy this.
