This porcelain teapot is handmade and hand painted with a Chinese landscape painting motif on each piece. The painting is applied over the glazed porcelain and then fired once more. The other side of the teapot has 2 lines from a Tang Dynasty poem: 空山新雨后，天气晚来秋。The lines can be translated into English as, "After rain in the valley, the fall atmosphere is richer in the evening." Because each piece is handmade there will always be a slight variation between pieces. Each piece is unique. This studio strictly follows the traditional Jingdezhen techniques.
