Each piece is hand painted and therefore there are slight variations between each teapot. Painting may be slightly different from that in the listing gallery.
This teapot was handmade and features a hand painted design in qinghua (cobalt blue) underglaze. This kind of porcelain is known as fanggu porcelain because it aims to revive and reproduce an ancient style of porcelain. Fanggu technique is more costly and difficult to execute properly than modern styles of porcelain.
