This raw / sheng pu'er tea was picked in Spring 2015 and is a single estate tea from Long Pa 龙怕 Tea Garden in You Le Mountain 攸乐山 (also known as Ji Nuo Mountain 基诺山). The tea trees in this garden are ancient trees at 150 + years old. The tea was stone pressed by hand in Tianming Tea Factory in Menghai. The tea itself is tippy and has nice silvery down (see photos). It has been stored in Tianming Tea Company's Guangzhou storage from 2015 to present.
The tea has a strong aroma characteristic of this estate's tea; a full body; it is very smooth for such a young pu'er, with some minerality, and light astringency balanced with subtle sweetness, followed by asweet aftertaste.
