This teapot was handmade by the artist Inge Nielsen and is shino glaze over Porcelain. It was fired in the studio's kiln to 1260 degrees.
This piece is part of a limited collection of teaware made by Inge Nielsen for Mud&Leaves. Inge studied ceramics in Taiwan and works in her studio in Brussels. She makes a variety of stoneware vessels, but has become known primarily for her teaware - beautiful and functional pieces sized perfectly for Chinese tea sessions.
