This julunzhu style teapot was handmade by Jingdezhen Master Lee ShanMing. He has devoted himself to ru kiln products for over thirty years. His signature is on the bottom of the pot and reads "Shan" 善. "Shan" is the middle character of the artist's name, it means kindness.
This ancient pottery technique known as Ru Kiln (Ruyao) originated during the Song dynasty. It is one of the finest quality traditional Chinese crafts on the market.
