This tea is the hallmark of a really well-made shou puerh. The fermentation level is *just* perfect - dark enough to give it depth of flavor but still having a very defined clarity of flavor. Full-bodied but still light enough that you want to keep drinking it for the entire day. Very clean and absolutely no fishiness or off-storage flavors. The liquor has a pleasant sweetness, and the body effect is very mild but palpably comfortable
