This cup is handmade of fine Jingdezhen porcelain, but it is also finished with a special glaze known as Jilan霁蓝. Jilan glazed porcelain is one form of traditional Jingdezhen ceramic. It is fired under the temperature of 1280°C - 1300°C, the color is a clean dark deep blue. In history, the famous time for firing Jilan is Ming Dynasty Xuande period(AD1426-1435).
