This shiboridashi was handmade by the artist Inge Nielsen and is shino glazed over stoneware. The clay body is a mixture of porcelain and stoneware clay. It was fired in the studio's kiln to 1260 degrees.

This piece is part of a limited collection of teaware made by Inge Nielsen for Mud&Leaves. Inge studied ceramics in Taiwan and works in her studio in Brussels. She makes a variety of stoneware vessels, but has become known primarily for her teaware - beautiful and functional pieces sized perfectly for Chinese tea sessions. Her work has been featured in professional competitions, galleries and museums. Click here to learn more about the artist.

*Teaware by Inge Nielsen is shipped directly from the artist's studio in Belgium via Bpost. This year the Inge Nielsen + Mud&Leaves collection is also available to customers in Europe. Since these items are not shipped from our Chinese warehouse, they are not eligible to be combined with other items for free shipping. Please also note that shipping prices for orders are based on the number of items (weight and size of order) and depending on country, may be limited to 2 items per basket. If you are unable to checkout, please try reducing the number of items to 2 or less. Multiple orders can be placed for customers wishing to purchase 3 + items. Please also note that due to the tariff policies of the current US government, shipping prices to the USA are much higher than previous years.
