Evenly spaced out, the scallop design is simply beautiful. As the teacup is fully handmade by Master Lee ShanMing, the design and craftsmanship attest to his skills and experience. The brown-dressed rim provides an antiquated look. Although still new, the veins can be seen through the glaze. Over time with use, the veins will become more prominent and will complement the light greenish-blue colour of Ruyao and the rim's colour. We use the teacups for gongfu style brewing, and the 50ml capacity is perfect. We can't be more delighted with the teacups from Shan Kiln.
