This porcelain teapot/gaiwan saucer / tea boat is handmade and hand painted using the Youzhongcai technique - After firing the teaware, the artist paints the design onto the glaze, and then applies an overglaze over the teaware and fires them again. Because each piece is handmade there will always be a slight variation between pieces and the piece purchased may be slightly different from that picture. Each piece is unique.
