This teacup was handmade and hand painted by the artist 大生 Dasheng. Dasheng is a rising star in the ceramic world in China. He is a porcelain painter and potter, known for his fully handmade Yixing Teapots and porcelain painting.
The teacup was hand-wheeled of fine tianbai porcelain. Tianbai 甜白 translated as "Sweet White", is a rich white porcelain glaze created during the Ming Dynasty YongLe Period (AD1403 – 1424).
